Vikings Hockey is the home of hockey in the Tuggeranong region, and a growing power in the ACT competition. We field teams in all age groups and grades, and cater for experienced players, as well as those new to the sport. We field Minkey, Junior Boys and Girls, Mens and Womens teams in most grades, supporting elite, competitive, social and grass competitions. In 2007 we fielded 29 teams across the Mens, Womens and Juniors competitions, as well as a dozen or so Minkey teams. Over 400 players proudly wore the maroon and white (as well as a few colour variations) each week for the Vikings. We also run a number of Twilight, Indoor, Masters and Veterans sides, as well as providing umpires, coaches and administrators throughout ACT hockey. No other club in Canberra has the depth that Vikings Hockey has! We pride ourselves on our policy of developing junior players and providing them with opportunities in senior hockey. At the Vikings, we believe that strong juniors mean a strong future for the club, and things have never looked better. All new players, coaches, umpires and supporters, or those returning from retirement, are welcome at Tuggeranong Vikings Hockey Club.
