2020 season is almost here!

Updated: Mar 2, 2020

Registration & Come and Try Day

Registration Day for 2020 will be held on Sunday the 23rd of February from 9am-12pm at the Tuggeranong Hockey Park, this will be held in conjunction with Hockey ACT's 'Come and Try Day'.

We encourage all members to bring their friends and family down to have a run around and give hockey a go, whilst also conveniently registering for the upcoming outdoor season.

For more information please contact your relevant registrar.

Senior Grading

The committee has decided no singular grading day will be held in 2020. Instead, based on feedback we have received across the club and what is considered best practice, players will be assessed over the two training sessions before the season commences, then in games and training up until the fourth round In line with the TVHC Player Selection Policy, Registrars are in the process of putting together an independent Selection Committee, who will be responsible for assessing players over these trainings/games, with teams finalised after Round 4. Factors also taken into consideration will be what grade the player has nominated for, as well as consulting with relevant coaches.

2020 Club Training

Senior club training will commence for all grades on Tuesday the 17th of March between 7-9pm on the Kjar and Taylor Fields at the Tuggeranong Hockey Park.

Specific times and fields for each grade will be announced shortly. Additional training for CL1& 2 Women and SL1 Men will also commence on Thursday the 18th of March from 7-8pm, on the Carter and Watt fields respectively. Junior club training will commence for all ages on Tuesday the 24th of March between 5-7pm on the Kjar and Taylor Fields at the Tuggeranong Hockey Park.

Specific times and fields for each age group will be announced shortly.
