  • How do I register to play?

  • How much are fees?​
     

    • Fees for winter competitions and summer indoor are detailed below. Fees are determined by a number of internal and external factors and may be subject to change from season to season.
       

  • How do I pay my fees?​
     

    • Our preferred method of payment is via direct bank transfer. Banking details can be provided by our Treasurer.
       

  • Are there discounts for families or students?​
     

    • We have discounted rates for eligible families with multiple players​. Please contact our Treasurer for more details. 

    • Payment plans are available to assist students and other members after discussing with our Treasurer.
       

  • Where do I buy my playing kit and equipment from?​
     

    • Playing kit and other merchandise can be purchased through our online store.
       

    • Please note we do not sell playing socks - those can be purchased from most sporting good stores such as Rebel Sport, or the Hockey Shop at the National Hockey Centre in Lyneham. We recommend the ThinSkins brand. Socks must be maroon with white stripes at the top of the sock.





       

    • Sticks, stick bags, shoes shin pads and other safety equipment such as mouthguards can be purchased from the Hockey Shop at Lyneham. Shin pads are mandatory for all players, and mouthguards are highly recommended for on-field players.
       

  • Can I choose which team I play in?​​
     

    • Players can nominate in their registration form which team they would like to play in and the club will do its best to honour that request, while ensuring players are appropriately graded into available teams. Details on TVHC's player grading can be found in this policy document.
       
  • Can I play in multiple teams?
     

    • Senior players can only be listed in one team, however can fill-in to a limited amount of games for a team above or one level below. Junior players can be listed multiple teams across different age groups.
       

  • What days do seniors play on?
     

    • Seniors play the majority of their matches on the weekend. Typically, the men's teams play on Saturdays from around 11am through to the evening. Our women's teams play most of their games on Sundays from 11am through to the evening, with the exception of CL1 Women who can play from Friday to Sunday.​
       

  • What days do juniors play on?
     

    • Juniors play between Friday to Sunday. Proposed times for juniors in 2024 are:

      • HookIn2Hockey: Saturday mornings

      • Under 10s: Saturday mornings

      • ​Under 12s: Sunday mornings​

      • Under 14s: Sunday mornings

      • U18s: Sunday 11am/12pm (CL18s), Friday evening (JSL1), Saturday morning (JSL2)
         

  • When is training?

    • Club training is on Tuesday nights at Tuggeranong Hockey Park between 5pm and 9pm. Juniors train between 5PM and 7PM, with seniors training from 7PM to 9PM. CL1/2 women and SL1 Men also train on Thursday nights either at Lyneham or the Jerrabomberra Regional Sports Complex.
       

  • I have never played hockey before, is there a level for me or my child?
     

    • We cater for players of all abilities, from ages 5 and up.

Outdoor fees for 2024 vary based on the age and grade registered.

HookIn2Hockey

  • U7s & U9s: $50 (plus annual Hockey Australia & Hockey ACT levies, totaling $93, and excluding participation pack)

Juniors
 

  • U10s: $190

  • U12s/U14s/U18s: $285

  • Two Junior teams:

    • U10s & U12s: $440​

    • U12s, U14s & U18s: $580

  • Goalie (using own kit): $210

  • Goalie (using club kit): Full age group fee

Junior playing Seniors

  • Senior fee plus $135 contribution to first junior team*

  • Senior fee plus $195 contribution to second junior team*

  • 3 x Senior/Junior teams - negotiation with Treasurer

  • Juniors playing only seniors: full senior fee

Seniors

  • Capital League 1 & 2: $660

  • State League 1 Men: $630

  • State League 1 Women & State League 2 Men & Women: $600

  • State League 3-5: $580

  • Goalie (using own kit): $350

  • Goalie (using club kit): Full senior grade fee 

  • Casual player: $45 per game**

  • 2 x Senior teams - Negotiation with Treasurer

  • 3 x Senior/Junior teams - Negotiation with Treasurer

  • Unregistered Junior playing Seniors due to school restrictions: Junior fee

 

  • Unregistered Junior playing Seniors with no school restrictions: Senior fee

* - if requested by player.  Reviewed by treasurer dependent on team numbers post start of season

** - based on a maximum of 12 games, then pro-rata full fees
